Trend Alert! bleached out eyebrows

Let's talk about eyebrows for a moment here. Not only are they your entire expression but also they have the ability to create depth and entirely top off or change your hair style and look. I have always been a fan of eyebrow contouring and styling and sadly I see it often get left out of a consultation behind the chair. I have had may clients that I have taken that extra moment to show them how to accentuate and create the illusion of a full dark brow. I have yet to bleach them completely out, but I am so very tempted. Yes, the platinum blonde brow, love it or hate it this severe look is back. After great anticipation of the film, A Girl With A Dragon Tattoo, I am left speechless by her fantastic styling. I applaud Danilo for his stunning versatile cut including the removal of her brows. I have always been a fan of eccentric punk rock hair.....but this styling is as punk rock as it is chic, modern and individualistic.

Here are a few of my favorite bleached out brows-beware this look isn't for everyone! Love it or leave it, you know I love my styling severe. 

This look may not be for all of you but the message here is don't leave those brows bare! Enhance them and show off those gorgeous blinkers in whatever way suits your fancy. Ask your makeup girl or stylist next time you are in the chair not only what she can do for your hair but your brows too!

Salt City with Adorn and Whiskey Tango!

Well it has been a BANG up fall with Whiskey Tango gigs lined up all the way fro Brooklyn to Hector, NY! KMS California released its new line with  fabulous kick off launch party in Rochester, NY. Autumn brides tie the knot in the Finger Lakes in our last few warm and sunny days. Adorn hair wear and WTS just wrapped an amazingly fun afternoon in Syracuse at the Salt City Craft Market, complete with plenty of shenanigans :)

Every back stage styling for Pamela Love I can get my hands on....I just love. Shown below stylist, Anthony Cole, with the Sebastian hair team twist and roughs up models tresses to set off her Fall 2011 jewelry collection. I love the metallic, futuristic pastel lavender's and icy blue extensions thrown in for color contrast. Totally inspiring. I will the photos speak for themselves

Wow. I just love the techni colored pastel tresses spotted from street to couture. Shown below is few of my favorites. Be inspired by this ice cream colored trend!

                                                             

Ask your stylist about the pastel hair colored trends you see pictured! If a whole head is way to much of a commitment for you try a hidden peek-a-boo panel in your favorite rainbow hue. A good stylist could also create some clip in extensions which is an easy way to sport this summer trend. If you are brave and think this trend is right for you be certain to visit a trained professional! Unless you are naturally an off the charts blonde in order to achieve the bright watery shades you see above it requires a first step of high-lift blonding. Save your hair from unwanted stress and leave it up to the professionals. A look like this is a HOT one but does require maintenance. Be sure to ask about custom tinted conditioners that will help the pigment stay fresh in between visits......and go out and show off your girly, pastel locks this summer!
